Intercultural Development

  Intercultural competence is key to any workplace that wishes for a healthy and safe community built on the tenets of global communication. Wellspring’s Coaching for Intercultural Competence program is geared toward the goal of helping organizations and their multicultural workforce work together effectively and optimize their potential for cross-collaborative success.·       The prioritization of intercultural competence – ensures workers have the knowledge and skills to navigate differences with confidence, respect, and professionalism. and strengthen their ability to navigate it in the workplace and everyday life. It is intended for anyone who wishes to prioritize their understanding of cultural diversity and is especially important for global organizations, where people from different cultures are expected to interact and work together to achieve business goals.·  The Wellspring has designed our proprietary Intercultural Competence program around the Intercultural Development Inventory, or IDI, a developmental tool that provides a snapshot of participants' current orientation toward difference along a defined continuum. Over the course of the program, participants engage in coaching and self-directed learning to develop skills that will aid them in their journey toward intercultural competence and the maintenance of workplace practices which will lead to a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.

Recognize

Ensure that your leadership team has a full picture of the organization’s staff experience and change resilience. Wellspring assists in expanding upon the existing employee engagement survey through a series of focus groups geared to engage all staff members.

Restructure

Wellspring will work in partnership with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and VP of Human Resources to align the roles of individual team members and departmental / functional mandates to the overall mission, strategic goals, and objectives of the organization.

Reposition

Assess whether each staff member will be tracked for promotion & succession planning, support, coaching, or performance improvement during this period of change management by utilizing a Situational Leadership model of performance management. Integrate Predictive Index talent optimization platform.

Refine

Upskill the organization’s management team through ongoing training and coaching, which can be accessed through in-person, live sessions, virtual sessions, and remotely via our live online learning platform Wellspring Learning. Integrate coaching programs for change management, leadership, and racial equity learning.

HERE IS HOW WE OPTIMIZE YOUR ORGANIZATION

Reimagine

Wellspring will focus on efforts to adjust to, plan for, and sustain the organization’s new ideal state by providing ongoing technical assistance to the CEO, Chief of Staff, VP of Human Resources, and other key employees at regular intervals for at least three months. This stage may also require support with hiring, transitioning and/or exiting of additional employees, as well as new key hires, which we will help facilitate through our HR Business Partner service model.
